What you may expect to find here are what I consider good taste and some of the best in photography, philosophy, humor, art, architecture, food, music, poetry, literature and dance. I hope you like some of the things I enjoy.

I like anything to do with good design such as interior design, architecture, photography, and art. I enjoy philosophy and psychology. I love to figure out what makes individuals tick. Music of most all types but particularly classical, world, pop, acoustic guitar is a big part of my life and add some dance to the music and my day is great! I like to write and occasionally I will write poetry and I really love to read it out loud and I even record it sometimes.

I'm a Myers-Briggs type ENFJ which means I love people and have a great interest in them.

I guess you could say I'm a humanities kind of person. :)

    Copenhagen’s Tietgenkollegiet Dorm is the Coolest Circular Housing Complex on Campus Tietgenkollegiet is a stunning circular student dormitory located in Orestad just outside of Copenhagen. Designed by Lundgaard and Tranberg, the Tietgen Residence Hall is not only one of the most attractive student living space we’ve seen, but also way ahead of the curve with community kitchens, workshops, cafes, music rooms, and a central activity courtyard to boot! This awesome home for students far is a communal ring that incorporates smart design and fun, functional concepts that make us wish we could go back to school! Tietgenkollegiet is 7 stories tall and contains 360 rooms set up in blocks of twelve. Each room faces the outside of the circle and has panoramic views of the channel and other surroundings. The common areas, lounges, and kitchens surround the inner-most courtyard. The circular design creates a sense of equality and unity, while the rooms’ unique alternating projected windows and terraces provide a wide range of housing opportunities. The facade is made with a unique copper alloy and features sliding partitions inspired by traditional southern Chinese Hakka house architecture. The alloy keeps the building surface clean and protected, and it will age to a rich dark tone over time, allaying restoration needs in the future. American oak and glass partitions alternate throughout the alloy wall, creating an exciting and dynamic facade that also encourages the flow of fresh air and sunlight. Inside, exposed concrete and magnesium flooring make large spaces extremely durable and easy to clean, while eco-friendly birch plywood partition panels break up the smaller rooms. The hand-picked materials also help insulate the common areas of the building. Students love the brightly colored curtains, laundry machines, and mailboxes that perfectly juxtapose the raw, natural materials surrounding them. Other amenities include bike storage, an auditorium, a roof deck, and a packed calendar of social activities. A percentage of the rooms are reserved for international students only, so if you’re planning to go back to school anytime soon grab your bags and apply for a room!
